The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Product Manager, IT for our Bar Harbor, Maine location, this role is NOT remote based. (multiple positions)
The Product Manager, IT manages strategic IT product roadmaps and programs for the conceptualization, design, development, delivery, testing and maintenance of new and existing software solutions. The Product Manager, IT manages IT product roadmaps through the prioritization of work; research and design of software; and management of resource allocations for the delivery team assigned. The Product Manager, IT works in a matrix fashion with Agile teams including software engineers, systems engineers, database administrators, designers, and product managers on software design and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interface. The Product Manager, IT applies a thorough understanding of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies in both strategy and capabilities, and recommend solutions for improvement; analyzes technology industry and market trends and determines their impact on the enterprise; and formulates all of this data into a product roadmap for development of software applications. The Product Manager, IT interfaces closely with business stakeholders including senior management members in order to understand and influence the business strategy and create a corresponding information technology strategy and roadmap, tracking and communicating status of delivery of the team to stakeholders in a timely fashion.
The minimum requirements for the positions are a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Five years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management within an agile environment with a complete full lifecycle of agile software development and implementation experience that included continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test driven development; executing paired and mob programming, automated unit and functional testing, manual testing, user-centered design, test and/or behavior driven development, and continuous integration and continuous deployment; performing product management, domain knowledge in a relevant stakeholder area, facilitation, influence, conflict resolution through collaboration; and developing integrated interfaces for Lawson, Dynamic AX using .net.
RATE OF PAY: Between $125,650- $130,000/year.
