Neuroscience Postdoctoral Associate
Bloss Lab
Bar Harbor, ME
Want to see synapses at the highest resolution, or understand how their structural organization drives function? A postdoctoral associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Erik Bloss at The Jackson Laboratory in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine, to study how neural circuits and synaptic connections relate to learning-related behaviors. We use cutting-edge neuroanatomical, computational, behavioral, chemogenetic, and genetic approaches to interrogate how cell-types are wired together, how these wiring patterns change during learning, and how such mechanisms may be impaired in new mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease. The Bloss Lab offers a challenging but supportive environment and is looking for new postdocs with a track record for publications and obtaining fellowships.
