Summary

Are you interested in playing a key role in maintaining building automation systems at a premier employer with excellent benefits and wages?  JAX in Bar Harbor, ME is looking for a Building Automation Technician!

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building automation
  • Working with Card Readers, relocating devices & sensors, VAV controllers
  • Assists with Security Systems, Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems
  • Working up to personal ability level in other Maintenance trades as needed.
  • Participate in an on call rotation that may require work outside of normal business hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two year degree in Electrical Technology or related field.
  • Knowledge of current automation systems such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls or other similar manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of technical documents including technical manuals, wiring diagrams & blueprints
  • Ability to work as team player with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency using current Windows based computer programs such as Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver’s License
