  • Summary

    Exciting opportunity to join the In Vivo Pharmacology team as a Project Manager. The position is responsible for working with the study director to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and for overall project coordination, execution, and completion. This position is the key responsible party to ensure that the customer’s project is on track.


    • Coordinating and tracking progress on the project, updating all required databases as needed and anticipates possible problems and corrections in order to avoid customer dissatisfactions or cost overruns.
    • Drives the progress of each department/area involved in the project to ensure that all project goals are met.
    • Project initiation and development, including IACUC protocol amendment, providing accurate timelines, securing animals, facilities, and staff for studies.
    • Piloting, validate and implant new assays and provide training as required for studies.
    • Hands-on experimental work within the lab.
    • Deal with issues and problems as they arise in an independent fashion.


    • Bachelor’s degree in biology, animal science, or related discipline and 7 years experience working in animal research, OR MS with 5 years of experience, OR PhD. with 0-3 years.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
    • Proven proficiency in molecular biology and/or cell biology protocols, such as qPCR, ELISA, western blots, immunofluorescence staining, etc.
    • Demonstrated aptitude to train research assistants and In vivo technicians.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast- paced, dynamic work environment which is externally focused.
    • Positive attitude and professional manner in all interactions; demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoints software, and Prism GraphPad.
